It was a fantastic night and it was lovely to see the pub packed to the rafters! The atmosphere was amazing and hats off to Jazzy Jeff who gets the music spot on every time to get people on their feet. There really is only one DJ in the south west!! Love the jokes too Jeff, thanks a million.

Thanks also to Brian and Clare, the landlord and landlady, who done the food, created the brilliant tractor cake and cleared up all the mess the next day!

It meant so much to Jim to see you all there. He was determined to celebrate this birthday with all his friends and family around him and you all gave him a night to remember which he hasn’t stopped talking about since.

As you all know Jim receives no treatment now for his tumour. We do still order drugs from other countries and are always trying new ones but he is really still going through sheer determination on his part and constantly striving to reach little milestones such as his birthday and the next one is Hannah’s 17th on 27th Feb when he can see her behind the wheel of a car. Lookout roads of Somerset!!

Jim doesn’t get out and about very much now and I am at home with him most of the time so he has lots of visitors which he enjoys. Anyone is very welcome to come and visit him just give us a ring on our home number first (01278 662768) to make sure we’re home but he would love to see you.
